JC Liebenberg is a Professional Associated Valuer registered with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Real Estate from the University of Pretoria and is a member of the South African Institute of Valuers (SAIV).
JC began his career with DDP Valuers in February 2020 and completed his internship in Pretoria, where he gained experience in mostly residential valuations. In August 2021, he relocated to Upington to manage residential valuations across the Northern Cape region. And later, during 2023, transferred to the DDP’s Cape Town office, where JC has been part of commercial valuations for both financial institutions and private clients and participated in large-scale multi-billion-rand portfolio valuation projects.
In March 2025, JC established his firm, Waterpas Property Valuations, focusing on residential and commercial property. And recently, in November 2025, formed a merger and partnered with the Uniqueco Property Valuers National Group as a Franchise owner for the Paarl, Stellenbosch and Somerset West regions. He shared his excitement to form part of a team with over three decades of practical exposure within the property valuation industry and committed to a meaningful contribution to the national partnership, property sector and the broader social and political spheres of society. With a background in property management, JC is a young, energetic entrepreneur bringing a strong analytical and client-focused approach to his work. Uniqueco Property Valuers is an established and dynamic valuation firm, with extensive experience within the private market, mass appraisal, right of way and expropriations, as well as building insurance assessments. The company served a vast clientele and assessment portfolio exceeding billions-of-rands.
