UNIQUECO Properties (Pty) Ltd (Trading as UNIQUECO Property Valuers) was established in 2008, providing professional valuation services of exceptional quality, using unique valuation methodologies and administrational strategies.
Our scope of experience embrace three decades of practical exposure to the property valuation sector.
UNIQUECO is compliant with the principals set by the South African Council for the Property Valuation Profession (SACPVP) in terms of Section 22 of the Property Valuers Profession Act 2000 (No 47 of 2000) and the International Valuation Standards Committee (IVSC).
Mission and Goals
The purpose of UNIQUECO is to determine and inform stakeholders regarding the common understanding of the value contributing attributes of property valuations, and enabling and assisting our clients in taking responsible informed investment or financial decisions.
It is UNIQUECO’S major objective to improve the underestimated importance of property valuation services and to make a significant contribution, but also in the social and political spheres of our society.
UNIQUECO focuses on employing its vast experience and exceptional and dedicated human resources to make a significant impact on the industry in which it operates.
Not only to elevate the importance of valuers and their services, but to expand the company through partnership, providing lucrative and challenging career opportunities to participants in the industry.

Professional Valuer – 4464/2 (SACPVP) (SAIV) (GIMFO) (SARWA) (IRWA)(Managing Director – Head of Valuations) Lourens started his career with C P De Leeuw Appraisers & Quantity Surveyors in 1995 where he worked for five years. He was self-employed and managed his own firm, L Nel Appraisers, in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga until 2002, when he rejoined the De Leeuw Group working in their Johannesburg valuation division until 2003. From 2004 to 2008, he held the positions of Executive Director and acting CEO of Dijalo Property Valuations, after which he established UNIQUECO Properties.
Lourens is a registered Professional Valuer with the South African Council for the Property Valuation Profession (SACPVP) in terms of Section 22 of the Property Valuers Profession Act 2000 (No 47 of 2000). He is also a member of the South African Institute of Valuers (SAIV), the South African Right of Way Association (SARWA), as well as the International Right of Way Association (IRWA).

Executive Director – Finance
After completing school, Ruth joined the South African Defence Force in 1999. Ruth thereafter studied for financial accounting and obtained a B.Com degree at the University of Pretoria. She was employed at ABSA and TREOC over a two year period and DIJALO Valuations as a financial manager for 4 years until 2009.
She gained tertiary education at Damelin, Pastel Accounting Certificate (Version 7) and a Computer and Secretarial Diploma at Zodiac Commercial School, respectively. She is currently studying towards a B.Compt degree via UNISA. Ruth is a highly principled and self-disciplined individual, and a competent functionary of the organisation and a 40% shareholder in UNIQUECO Properties Pty Ltd.
